Why re-elect Natasha

A people-driven legacy — worth continuing.

Her 2027 platform builds on economic, educational, and healthcare progress — expanding opportunity across the entire senatorial district.

Proven leadership

Reclaimed her stolen mandate through the Court of Appeal in 2023 after a two-year legal battle — then hit the ground running, sponsoring the South-East Development Commission Bill and championing the long-overdue revival of the Ajaokuta Steel Company as Vice-Chair of the Senate Committee on Steel Development.

  • Sworn in as Senator, Kogi Central — 10th National Assembly (Sept 2023)
  • Vice-Chair, Senate Committee on Steel Development
  • Co-sponsored the South-East Development Commission Bill
  • Motion to reactivate Ajaokuta Steel adopted on the Senate floor

Transparent governance

One of the Senate's most vocal advocates for accountability — publicly challenging leadership abuses, backing the Reserved Seats for Women Bill, and pushing anti-corruption reform even when it cost her committee seats. Integrity over convenience.

  • Publicly opposed opaque budget padding in the 10th Senate
  • Backed the Reserved Seats for Women (Constitution Amendment) Bill
  • Refused party pressure to withdraw the Ajaokuta probe motion
  • Full public disclosure of constituency project beneficiaries

Constituency development

Delivered rural electrification and solar projects across Okehi, Okene, Adavi, Ogori-Magongo and Ajaokuta; funded medical outreaches treating thousands; and secured federal attention on the Obajana–Kabba and Itakpe road corridors critical to Kogi Central's economy.

  • Solar streetlights installed across all 5 LGAs of Kogi Central
  • Free medical outreach — 4,000+ patients screened and treated in 2024
  • Renovation of PHCs in Adavi, Okehi and Ogori-Magongo
  • Federal follow-up on the Obajana–Kabba and Itakpe road corridors

Youth empowerment

Full undergraduate scholarships for indigent Kogi Central students, aviation and vocational training placements, ICT hubs, and PVC/civic-participation drives — investing directly in the next generation of Ebira, Okun and Kogi youth.

  • 500+ full undergraduate scholarships awarded to indigent students
  • Aviation & piloting training sponsorships for Kogi Central youth
  • Vocational skills grants in tailoring, ICT, welding and agribusiness
  • Youth PVC registration drives across all 5 LGAs

Women's inclusion

A national voice for women in politics: co-sponsor of the Reserved Seats Bill, host of the 2025 International Day of the Girl Child, and a lived example that women can win — and hold — a Senate seat in Northern Nigeria on merit.

  • Co-sponsor, Reserved Seats for Women in the National Assembly Bill
  • Hosted the 2025 International Day of the Girl Child in Kogi Central
  • Micro-grants and startup kits for market women and widows
  • Mentorship pipeline for young women in law, media and politics

National influence

From CNN and BBC interviews to the Inter-Parliamentary Union, she has put Kogi Central on the global map — widely described as an 'amazon' of Nigerian politics and a symbol of the modern, transparent, inclusive democracy the country is building.

  • Featured on CNN, BBC, Al Jazeera and Channels TV
  • Nigerian delegate to the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU)
  • Keynotes at diaspora town halls in the US, UK and Canada

  • 10,000 Economic Trees Project launched across Kogi Central
  • Cashew, mango and moringa seedlings distributed to farmers
  • Climate-smart agriculture training for smallholder co-operatives
  • Community tree-planting days in schools and market squares

Installed free campus-wide Wi-Fi at the Federal College of Education, Okene, and continues to push for broadband access, digital-literacy programs, and tech-enabled classrooms so rural students can compete on equal footing.
